Do I need to buy extra pins?
There are four extra pins per package so you should probably be able to attach them and have extras but you can always buy an extra ten pins as part of your order.
Is the vinyl thick enough to keep the cats claws from penetrating it?
Cat Scratch Guards™ are .019 gauge high quality, double polished, marine grade vinyl (manufactured for boat windows) and cats simply do not claw at where these furniture protectors are attached. The vinyl is thick enough to deter the scratching and flexible enough to bend around the contours of your furniture.
What is the return policy?
You may return merchandise purchased for any reason at any time and your money will be electronically refunded the day it is received with no questions asked. If you ordered by check or it is later than 60 days from the purchase date your refund check will be mailed.

No more damage than a safety pin if taken out carefully.
